Race season starts

Finally... after a long wait, the 2024 racing season is open!  We started the season off this Saturday with the First Run Ashore social get-together at the club, which was well attended with lots of food, drink and discussion to be had.  The next day - without a single hangover to be seen, it was the Commodore's Cup one day event marking the first sailing event of the year.  Again, a good turnout with 12 boats on the water ... eventually!  There were a few teething issues, such as broken halyards, stuck centerboards and splinters in fingers and it was by no means an easy start to the season with gusts over 20 Knots, but a lot of fun was had by all :)
