The primary aim of RAF Waddington SC is to contribute to the welfare and personal development of all personnel who support the operational output of RAF Waddington. The provision of dinghy sailing opportunities, activities, training and equipment shall be provided for Serving Personnel, Reserves, Veterans, Civil Service and Contractors, through membership of RAF Waddington SC.  

The objectives of the Club shall be to:  

1. Be a voluntary, non-profit organisation run by a management committee made up of SP and/or Civilian/Reserve/Veteran volunteers with the support of the Stn Ped Flt, for the provision of dinghy sailing activities. 
2. Provide the necessary facilities for dinghy sailing at Hykeham Sailing Club for all RAF Waddington Personnel (Mil/Civ). 
3. Provide an inclusive environment of support, adventure, and exposure to sailing. 
4. Advance the personal development of persons involved in dingy sailing through access to RAF Sailing Association (RAFSA) run courses, training events and competitions.
