Hykeham Sailing Club is a friendly, family orientated club and a hidden gem. The club has 130 acres of water and a modern club house with changing facilities, licensed bar and catering on club racing days. A large boat park and car park are also available for use by members. You can hone your sailing skills, whilst relaxing with friends or family and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Sailing is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities and is a perfect way to improve your health and fitness without even thinking about it. HSC has sailors from under ten to over seventy years of age, many of whom enjoying racing on a Wednesday evening and at weekends, when there are safety boats with qualified operators keeping a watchful eye on proceedings. We also have sailors who travel the UK and beyond, racing in Regattas at national and international level.

Join HSC and you can just relax and enjoy cruising around the lake, race competitively, learn how to race competitively or learn to sail through one of our RYA (Royal Yachting Association) courses. Schedules of training for the RYA courses can be found here. You do not have to be a member of the sailing club to take part in the RYA courses, but if you complete your course and feel the sport is for you, you will get a preferential rate when joining the Club. You do not need to buy a boat immediately as the sailing club has a variety of boats which can be hired to allow you to develop your sailing skills and experience different types of craft.
