Celebrating the Success of Our Last Open Day

Last years Hykeham Sailing Club Open Day was a tremendous success, welcoming one of the largest turnouts we have seen in recent years. It was wonderful to open our doors to so many local families, sailing enthusiasts, and curious first-time visitors, all eager to experience what our club has to offer.

We were delighted to receive strong support from local councillors and community representatives, who joined us on the day to show their commitment to the future of Apex Lake and the vital role the Sailing Club plays within the local area. Their presence highlighted the importance of preserving this unique community space and helping it continue to thrive for generations to come.

The enthusiasm of everyone who attended translated into a fantastic increase in membership. Many new faces joined the club, eager to get out on the water, learn new skills, and become part of our friendly and welcoming community. Seeing the lake busy, vibrant, and full of activity was a real reminder of just how much Hykeham Sailing Club means to local people.

With the clubs future now secure under new ownership, we are more excited than ever about what lies ahead. As we look ahead to this years Open Day, we cant wait to welcome even more visitors to discover the club for themselves.
